What does climate change have to do with justice? In this course we will look at various questions of justice that climate change raises, and examine how political theory attempted to answer them. Topics to be considered will include the following: responsibility for climate change, duties regarding future generations, the problemof distributing the burdens of climate change, individual and collective obligations, rights to natural resources, climate change and human rights and, indigenous rights, and climate change and the management of global commons. The main aim is to introduce climate change (crisis) from critical and ethical perspective and its diverse aspect and highlight the importance of such a view.
