This research colloquium on Transcultural Music Studies is devoted to ongoing research projects of the UNESCO Chair’s PhD candidates. The candidates’ presentations of their research cover a vast scope of different subjects, both from methodological as well as from cultural and geographical perspectives. The purpose of the presentations is to enhance discussion on transcultural research in music and to bring new input into the research projects presented.
The colloquium is also suitable for MA students with the study profile in Transcultural Music Studies. It is open as well to all MA students or PhD candidates of the Department.
Presentations and discussions will be in English language.
