Englisch B2 - Pronunciation & Phonetics - Einzelansicht

There is no course book; handouts will be supplied via online platform.

This course focuses on practical pronunciation practice through speech, articulation and rhythm exercises. You will not emerge as a native speaker but you should gain confidence and clarity in your speaking skills.

Payment made within the first three weeks of semester (irrespective of public holidays)

Your language level is appropriate to the course (see below: Target group/Zielgruppe).

Successful completion will give you 3 ECTS points. Check with your exam office (ASPA) to find out if these credit points can be counted as part of the "Allgemeine Schlüsselqualifikation" module.

Assessment is based on:

1. fulfilling the attendance requirements (present for 80% of classes)
2. passing the end of semester oral exam.

Your teacher will give you more detailed information at the beginning of semester.

We will look at individual sounds that cause difficulties to participants. We will practise linking connected speech clearly. We will recite, chant, shout, whisper and maybe even sing!

This course is for students at B2 level. This means you have intermediate level English (c. 7/8 years in school).

You can work through the placement test there and bring the email confirmation of your result to the first lesson of your course. 145-192 points would be the best score for this course.

If you wish to register for more courses, you may choose any other course in the B2 range. You may not choose courses at A2, B1 or C1 level.
