Intelligence has been one of the earliest measured concepts in the history of psychology, and as yet it is a controversial topic among researchers. This long-term perspective gives greater insight into the study of intelligence. The study of intelligence has proved to be a continuously evolving, dynamic field, with the breadth of the field expanding rapidly over the past 25 - 30 years. In this seminar, we will try to provide a brief overview of the major categories of new and emerging conceptions of intelligence and also shed a light on the recent publications regarding different fields related to the development of intelligence.
