Kommentar

This course is designed to familiarize international students with the main issues and actors of Turkish politics and foreign policy. Topics to be discussed during the course will include background and theoretical foundations of Turkish politics and foreign policy, civil-military relations, the Kurdish issue, democratization and Turkey’s foreign relations with global and regional actors during the 2000s, including Turkey’s relations with the Middle East, Central Asia and the Caucasia, Russia, the United States, Europe and Greece.
