In this seminar we will explore how the perceptions, thoughts, feelings and behaviors of individuals are influenced by the actual, imagined, or implied presence of others´.
Experimental methods will be the primary source of evidence and include reaction time and accuracy data, eyetracking data, EEG data, fMRI data & TMS data. We will also consider observational data, survey data and questionnaire data. Primarily we will explore all this in healthy adults, but we will also touch on special populations, such as non-human animals, children or elderly people as well as clinical populations, such as individuals with schizophrenia or autism.

8) group processes/social categories (in-group, out-group)
9) prejudice & stereotypes

14) moral
In each class we will discuss one topic in a broader sense based on a group text. The necessary reading material will be provided beforehand and we will work with guiding questions in smaller groups.
Also, we will have a 10 min student presentation in each class in terms of a specific topic. The article for this can be freely chosen by the presenting student. Guidance will be offered as necessary. In addition we will have 2 students that act as discussants for these presentations.
