Inhalte | The course shows how to measure taxable income taking financial reporting into account. Tax accounting and financial reporting may establish some book-tax-differences. However, some jurisdictions provide some book-tax-conformity as well. Moreover, the course contains international tax avoidance issues by transfer pricing or earnings management as well as analyzing information by deferred taxes. The course explains all these issues and shows how to calculate effective tax rates, accordingly. |
Lern- und Qualifikationsziele | Students know the linkage between tax accounting and financial reporting. They are able to interpret information financial accounting reports about taxation. Students are able to apply legal norms considering tax accounting and know why there are always some book-tax-differences. Students are able to derive effective tax rates making use of accounting information. |
