Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von Leistungspunkten (Prüfungsform) | Seminar paper (approx. 60%), presentation and prepared discussion (approx. 30%), active participation in the group discussions (approx. 10%); each partial performance must be passed individually. The overall grade is the weighted sum of the individual grades. Due to the changing topics of the seminar, already passed partial performances have to be repeated in case of a repetition of the seminar. |

Lern- und Qualifikationsziele | Seminar participants are able to analyze a specific topic in economics. Upon completion of the module, they are able to write an academic text based on the relevant scientific literature, as well as critically discuss the contributions of other students. |
Voraussetzung für die Zulassung zur Modulprüfung | The learning goal of critical discussion skills requires seminar participants to be present and actively participate in the discussion. Admission to the examination therefore requires regular attendance (in the event of absence due to illness or overlapping with other compulsory dates, the person responsible for the module must be notified immediately and proof or credible evidence must be provided accordingly). In case of absence without corresponding proof and in case of - with regard to the achievement of the learning objectives - too frequent absence, the admission to the examination can be denied. Further details are regulated by the examination regulations or the examination board. |
