Cambridge Exams Preparation Course

This course will take place partly online. The first meeting on 15th April will be an all-day Zoom workshop. The other two will be in the classroom

This will involve active input from students and completion of exercises and essays. Students who do not want to do the internationally recognised Cambridge exam are still welcome to participate.

The Cambridge Advanced (C1) is internationally recognised by universities and companies alike. Entry requirements are B2 level of English.

Cambridge Advanced              (C1 level)

Cambridge Proficiency             (C2 level)

Cambridge Advanced and Cambridge Proficiency are indefinitely valid. Students can register for the exam online at one of the exam centres such as Leipzig, Frankfurt, Munich or Berlin.

Most universities in the UK, and many universities elsewhere, require a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or Cambridge Advanced for international students. Students, who are thinking of pursuing studies in the USA should consider checking the requirements with their chosen university.

Placement test or proof of one year stay in an English-speaking country. The placement test will be replaced by an online interview. OPlease contact sonja.price@uni-jena.de to arrange for this.

Level C1

Leistungsschein / Credits: 5 bei regelmäßiger Teilnahme und erfolgreicher kursinterner Prüfung. 

Diese Credits können Sie sich als Teil des Moduls "Allgemeine Schlüsselqualifikation" anrechnen lassen.

(Bitte beachten Sie, dass die kursinterne Prüfung nicht zum Erwerb des Zertifkats führt. Diese erfolgt über einem zentralen Test außerhalb des universitären Sprachunterrichts.)
