Switch to the summer term

On 20 February 2023, Friedolin was switched to the summer term 2023. You can now register for courses for the upcoming semester via the module allocation function and the electronic course catalogue. Should you not find a course that was announced, please contact the respective teaching staff or department/institute. CHE University Ranking: The Survey starts on January 2023
In this year’s winter semester the students - 3rd and higher semester - of the following study programmes are being questioned:
- Law (Staatsexamen)
- Economics and Business Administration (B.Sc.)
- Economics and Business Administration (Business Information Systems) (B.Sc.)
- Economics and Business Administration (Information and Management Sciences) (B.Sc.)
- Business & Languages (B.A.)
The invitation is sent by the University of Jena. In order to further implement good processes or to improve the study conditions of your programme, we kindly invite you to take part in the CHE-survey. The survey will run until 31 January 2023.

Start the new year successfully and register now for the Studier:bar online workshop series
Dear students,
efficient learning techniques, good time management, motivation boosters and digital tools can help you study successfully and make a good start to the new year. The workshop series offered by "Studier:bar" will help you with all that. Several online workshops on study-related topics will take place in January and February:

Re-registration for the summer semester 2023
Dear students,
re-registration for the summer semester 2023 is now possible. Please transfer the valid semester fee by 15th of february 2023 (receipt of money at the university). When transferring money, please use your person-specific intended purpose (after login, see "Re-registration information" in the left navigation). If the money is received after 15th of february, re-registration requires the additional payment of a late fee. Thank you for your attention and prompt completion.

Information on exam registration
Dear students,
the registration period for examinations ends on 26 December 2022. Some examinations may have different registration deadlines. You can find those under the information on specific examinations. Please keep in mind, that the last date in Friedolin will be the 26 of December and that the pandemic related compensatory measures will no longer be available.
We recommend you to register for your examinations in due time to have enough time for any inquiries. Regarding those, please note the office hours of examinations offices and Friedolin team as well as the holiday periods in which the University will be closed.
